RSPCA Canterbury and District Branch

About us

We are the local RSPCA branch - supporting animals in need across East Kent from the Isle of Sheppey to the Dover coastline, with an animal rehabiltation and rehoming centre on the outskirts of Canterbury.

We care for hundreds of animals each year. Those who are lost, forgotten, abandoned and unwell. Those who have been at the hands of cruellty and neglect and those who end up in our care because of marital breakdown, domestic violence, owners going into care or hospital and those who simply cannot afford to care for their animals any longer.

We provide community services such as welfare assistance, low cost neutering, wildlife collections, microchipping, educational sessions and advvice to help keep animals healthy and safe in their homes whilst supporting owners to be the most responsible owners they can be

Right now we are busier than ever before. Costs are soaring and our phones do not stop ringing. Every penny riaied is critical to help keep our doors open. Every penny is spent locally. We cannot survive without your local support.

Thank you so much for being there for animals in need.
